I replaced my original Suburban SW6P manual ignition water heater with this Direct Ignition unit. I read a lot of comments about poor installation instructions. I didn't have any issues, instructions are really for a new install, not necessarily for swapping out an old unit, but if you learn to read wiring schematics, which isn't complicated all the info you need is the manual

Directions in the box aren’t very clear. Was able to research information on hookup for switch. Pretty easy once that was figured out. As soon as I turned it on it took about 10 seconds to light initially while it waited for gas. Heats up quickly. Great heater from what I can tell.
- 7***l (6)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThe water heater is a fine piece of equipment the service was excellent from eBay as well as the manufacturer however the hot water tank is advertised as a 6 gallon and it is not it's a 4 gallon and but I'm happy I'm happy I just wish they would have advertised as a four gallon cuz I probably wouldn't have bought it but now that I have it and have it installed amen
