The item did not arrive as pictured. The headshell had no hinges to be able lift it up and hold it in place and it was broken upon arrival. I tried contacting the seller but he didn’t respond. He was super slow to respond also prior to the package arriving when inquired about tracking info and why it was late.

This was a fantastic purchase. The item came in quicker than I ever could expect from Japan to Massachusetts. This turntable performs perfectly, and my Son is "over the moon happy" with his graduation gift. To be frank, it was an extremely good value for a pre-owned Technics SL-1600 Direct Drive Automatic Turntable in near-mint condition. This has now launched his new hobby of collecting records. Thank you so much for making this deal work out. It is very much appreciated by our whole family.

I ordered my item 4/27. I was told my item was awaiting inspection and would ship on 5/15, which was already over a week past the last day it is supposed to be shipped. On 5/17 I contacted asking about the status of my shipment and as of 5/21 I have received no reply. I have no idea as to the status of my order. Probably one of the poorest purchasing experiences I have ever had on eBay, it has been almost a month with no answers.
