After the first few charges it seems as expected so far, at least better than a new-old-stock 8-year-old battery would be. It doesn't seem to be breaking down yet, hopefully it lasts at least a few years. Definitely worth the money though. So many of these batteries are real scams that put whatever junk they found on the street in an off-brand case.
