Transmission pan is on the side NOT underneath the transmission. Removal of the pan doesn't give sufficient access to remove/replace the filter. Would need to partially disassemble the transmission. Ignorance of this fact is mine. Just going to keep the filter and gasket. Other then that, filter & gasket look good.
