sound is good ,but power supply its really bad , make lots of noise , you may have to make you own power supply to let this preamp working good . this preamp. its not for beginner , 6j1 & 5654 not sounding good as 6au6 . if u want use 6au6 , u must have a very good filament supply , 12.8v to 13v dc , make two 6au6 filament at same voltage . also b+ 56v has to be good too if u want good sounding preamp .
