Anyone who enjoyed the SEINFELD episode where Kramer set up a talk show set from the MERV GRIFFIN SHOW in his apartment, and invited various "guests" to come on the "show" should find something to enjoy in BBC comedy THE KUMARS AT NUMBER 42. The Kumars are an Indian family who live together in North London, and have hit on an ingenious idea to make their lives more interesting. Clearing out their back garden, they have built an impressive TV studio, in which they host their own talk show. Sanjeev (Sanjeev Bhaskar) is the son of the family, and the host of the show. But he has to contend with the constant interruptions from mom, Madhuri (Indira Joshi); dad, Ashwin (Vincent Ebrahim); and grandmother, Sushil (Meera Syal), who all reside on a couch in the studio. Comedic mayhem ensues as Sanjeev's flow is constantly halted by his cantankerous relatives in the six episodes included here.
