The fan on my 05 Eiger now runs all the time after it warms up, even when road riding at speed in cool weather. The original fan switch would only turn on when the quad was actually hot and working at slow speed like snow plowing or hauling wood. I ended up installing a switch in series with this sensor to disable fan operation when riding the trails as the fan is a big load on the electrical system. It shouldn't run all the time. RM Tech Support says its an issue with my CDI. Wrong!

Thank you for your feedback. Based on the additional information provided that you have experienced the same issue with multiple new sensors from different manufactures, this indicates the issue lies elsewhere. Typically, the provided experience is due to a failing CDI unit and recommend confirming the condition. Our team has provided return information and will provide an update on our testing once returned. If we can be of further assistance in the meantime, please reach back out!
