Battery is 35 years old and dead--the camera came out in 1985. I tried charging for over 30 hours as suggested by a blogger. Didn't do any good. I took it apart and it does not have standard AA or AAA rechargeable batteries to swap even though I expected to do some soldering. Don't buy these batteries. Not the sellers' fault. You just can't expect 35 year old batteries to hold charge
