The quality of the soft jaws is somewhat less than I might have expected from a branded “Eclipse” item but such is the case for everything these days and with a bit of “tweaking” will be fine. I got some better ones from wilkeseng.co.uk.
- 5***n (3839)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThese fibre grips are not fibre, not sure if it’s possible to get red fibre soft jaws any more. So the description fibre is wrong and misleading. They in fact a composite plastic material. Not very resilient and poorly riveted. I’ve modified mine and replaced the rivets to adapt them. I’ll make do with them because you can’t seem to buy new real red fibre jaws.
