It’s a big enough circumference to make the earring back easy to put on. The earring back itself is rather light and small but good enough to make the earring very secure. Stone is very sparkly. I would recommend these earrings.

The earrings are spectacular! I drove the poor jeweler crazy changing my mind after a deal was almost set, and he was very patient.
