Item was damaged during shipping due to insufficient packing. Seller insists that its my responsibility as the buyer to file a claim with the shipper. The seller hired the shipper and purchased insurance, its their job to deal with any insurance claims. As a seller myself, I would have asked for photos from the buyer, given the refund, then decided if I wanted to proceed with the insurance claim. In this case I would not have filed the claim, as the damage was caused by poor packing.
