With the ability to cut through both soft and hard foods, the powerful motor of the Presto Professional SaladShooter makes this a handy tool.Cut lettuce into manageable pieces by using one of the four funnels that slides right into the side of the salad shooter. Choose among the slicer, shredder, chopper, and blender funnels. These are interchangeable on the electric appliance, and they stack neatly for storage. This slicer/shredder appliance is wired with a polarized plug for your kitchen electrical outlets. That means that as a safety feature, one blade of the plug is wider than the other.This device is also useful for preparing soups, cheese, pizza, tacos, potatoes, nuts, and desserts. You can even use it to slice bread. Each shredding cone slides into the electric Presto professional unit with a locking ring that holds the assembly firmly together.
