EBay put $200 of my money in escrow because I didn’t provide my id because I hardly ever sell anything. EBay could have blocked the sale but instead either it is 1) too incompetent to guarantee a safe and secure transaction or eBay deliberately put it in escrow to coerce me into handing over my ID. Either way eBay can’t be trusted and I was treated with contempt.
