Latency is the delay in the rotation of the disk before it can bring the required sector under the read-write mechanism. With this high speed, you can move files quickly and easily whenever you need them. Moreover, the Western Digital Scorpio Blue hard drive features 8MB of cache memory. The disk's cache memory is a data buffer system that helps to speed up the process of storing and accessing data from the hard disk drive.
