    As described, quick despatch/delivery. Downloaded and used ELM327 bluetooth app on my android phone. Connected as per instructions and confirmed code (same as my son-in-laws different app and reader). I cleaned the EGR valve coolant filter (2021 Jag XE 2.0L MHEV) which was clogged up then refitted everything and reset the engine light. So far so good, light still off. BRilliant. Many thanks.
