No issues threading spikes in, I got them all started and finished with I believe was a 6mm socket. Note-I have upgraded mounts with the highway pegs so this may have caused poor fitment. I had to slightly modify, take out some material where the front bolt goes through and swivels. Picture attached. Floorboards, brake, clutch, passenger and highway pegs inc. good stuff.
