The motherboard in our laptop did not have a separate GPU but was based on the same pcb. An exact replacement motherboard would have been much more expensive. We had to purchase a different heat sync to cool the GPU and CPU for about $15. The computer is now faster than it was and windows 10 recognized the added GPU without having to do a reinstall. Will the miracles ever end? Very fast shipping. A++++
