I purchased this plate to make a DYI 4x5 half plate but due to the dimensions I could not make a "good" half plate. The 4x5 film holder plates are obviously wider so 4" in half is too narrow. The seller is great, his description was perfect and the plate in very good shape.. it was me that purchased something for the incorrect application.
