Unfortunately, it I can't use it with the square pin headers which will damage any sockets they are used in. I had unfortunately assumed that like most of these kinds of products, precision round pins would have been used. The photos shown here clearly depict the square header pins. I'm sorry that the adapter does not work for your setup. However, I do not concur your statement that "the square pin headers which will damage any sockets they are used in". The square pins were chosen on purpose to have part A sitting tight in the socket. I have tested this on several computers, and never damaged any socket as long as the adapter was inserted carefully and properly level. I will add some note that I can fit round precision pins on request.
