Poor quality. Instructions were for M14 bolts but item was M12. Torque settings were therefore wrong. CORRECT TORQUE SETTING FOR M8 BOLTS IN THIS APPLICATION IS 40NM, as fully detailed in enclosed instructions . I doubt you even used a torque wrench , and just tightened them up as far as they would go , and then have this issue.
