It has to be fitted correctly after whacking the heat guard on the Dakota out of the way some. The starter fits a lot of models and has to be really lined before tightening or fitting the larger hole it has right. It's condition looks new and works fine. the price is also cheaper than the local auto parts with the same type starter. It works and is clean and tight.
