You could hold that it is not good to have only one wood-wing on a 4-gang, but I will be mounting the back to a masonry wall (cutting off wing). It is 2 1/8" deep inside, 2 3/16" deep outside, which is ok for this project. I appreciate finding such a box without having to use a mud ring!! FAST and SAFE Shipping!
