I've tested each chip with a variable DC supply and found 8 out of 10 light up absolutely evenly, which is usually a good sign for long life. The other two had a very slight unevenness, but will probably still have good life expectancy. I've bought from the UK at much higher prices and found the quality to be decidedly dodgy, hence the decision to risk buying from China direct.
