    This item shipped and arrived extremely quick! The packaging it came in was nice and secure in bubble wrap. Everything plugged in and came together just fine although since it is a Japanese laser drive it did not have a compartment cut out in the drive chassis for the cooling fan that the American model gamecubes have so you will have to use an old one which will fit with no issues. All my games can be read now and Ive had no issues since. Thank you!

    The metal bracket on mine wasn't for my GameCube, but I was able to easily reuse my own. Luckily I had the original drive I could swap with. Shipping was very fast and now I have a working GameCube again which is amazing.
