Item was put in plastic bag, then in the nylon carrier bag. The bag was then thoroughly and carefully shrink-wrapped. This was then wrapped in layers of bubble wrap. The entire package was then put inside a sturdy cardboard mailer. Item arrived safe and sound within one week of purchase - much earlier than estimated! Most excellent and delightful experience!
