The top had been sealed/taped well, but it was gaping open. I relaxed when I didn't hear pieces moving inside when I picked up the box. Thankfully, the platter had been wrapped carefully, top of box and bottom had packing materials.... and therefore.... a perfect Skating Chefs platter will be welcomed to our table this Christmas!
