To me it is near excellent & very well preserved from the original owner's estate. SEE PHOTOS as they serve as part the condition statement. Facing/under brim is excellent, no wear, spots, scuffs, holes or fade. Edging ribbon is excellent, no wear or spotting or fade,hatband is excellent. Hat is very clean, no soiling or spotting, no odors. Interior very good, very clean,only flaw is some of the leather has scuffing in 1 area (shown). The silk plush is very good, the nap is flat & glossy, 1 tiny wear spot on the top/tip (shown in photo), some very very mild wear along the tip's edge, only a few places, and really hard to even notice (my camera flash makes it look more noticed than it is). On the right side when you run your fingers over the plush you can feel a VERY slight depression about 1" long but NOT seen. Overall its way above average for these old top hats. Please ask if you need more details. Selling as found, any small flaws noted.”
