It works perfectly, but qualify that only by the fact that so far I have only used it on a new (ball joint) stud on a factory knuckle, torqued (only) to Mopar specs. This knuckle had to be replaced when it's steering tie rod went in too far (thus the need for the tool). An overtightened assembly might be harder. I advise smoothing the cradle that goes under the grease boot, to protect the boot. FAST and SAFE shipping!!
