However, the seller was gracious about returning it.  I am confident that my refund will come after the seller rechecks the product for any possible shipping damage. Warning to buyers of used projectors: don’t go by the picture for the size! Get the manufacturers dimension specs if it’s not included in the eBay description!

My mistake happened by searching on a particular Viewsonic model, and this other brand was at the top of the results list. This might be Ebay’s problem and not the seller’s problem, but it was my fault for not reading more carefully.
