I purchased this coil to use on a 1960 FL Harley Davidson because finding a good used HD coil is close to impossible. I think there is one manufacturer of replacement stock look alike coils and the coils are unreliable. This coil is not made to look like the original HD coil for this bike but it bolts on and works very well. It is sold at a good price too. I will tell my friends where I bought a good operational coil for 6 volt Panhead Harleys
