I will leave this as positive, but the ad listing is misleading at best and deceptive at its worst. This is not a 5.1 channel receiver, which would be Dolby Digital. This is Dolby Pro Logic which is the original 4 channel home surround system introduced in the early 80s. There is a center, left, right and rear surround (four channels, duh) and there is no subwoofer (which is what the 0.1 in the name signifies). Pro Logic sounds great, don’t get me wrong, but this receiver is not 5.1.
