- h***g (1311)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseThe nasal bar was bent inwards from the packing that could have been a bit better. I was able to easily straighten it back to the shape that these things were made originally. There some in museums that date to Charlemagne and some after the Norman Invasion of England and Sicily. This type is found on the Bayeaux Tapestry. Many of these were made from one sheet of steel. The inside diameter is enough to put it on over a coif but it might be best to get an arming cap of a lesser thickness.
