It is very short staple (1”-ish) and straight with no crimp. It looks more like hair and is very prickly. It has zero spring , loft or bounce and I couldn’t imagine using it to stuff anything. It does felt, but even felted it is prickly. I returned it as it wasn’t useable for the projects for which I purchased it. The seller was very helpful and responsive.

It did have one flaw but that was pointed out in the pictures and easily fixable. It felt much more expensive than the price and it arrived in excellent condition.
