I would comment that fitting the pins into the connector is not that easy with the seat in situ in the car. I decided to remove the seat from the car then it’s doable. A note for Mercedes owners - the yellow connector for the seat mat on mine had a flip-up locking mechanism for the pins as part of the yellow body and you need to flip it up away from the pins to enable the pins to be released or they will never come out !
