Excellent item to replace an earlier model. There is one slight difference you need to know. The earlier model was powered by an old model train transformer, but the present one will not self- start on the rectified AC output. My system now uses a 12v car battery which is trickle charged with the train transformer. ( I am using the fan as an extractor fan in a composting garden toilet, which changes the air in the small building very effectively )
