It is strange to pay so much for so little, but I do understand that my Altec 808-8a horn drivers are nearly a century old now, so it's kind of amazing to find the needed washer at all. The old washers were rock-hard and one was broken, which shorted the output of the amplifier. Ugh. But now all is well, and I'm happy. AFAIK, there's nothing like these old Altec aluminum horns/drivers. Ridiculously efficient (creating a balancing problem) and amazingly revealing of problems in a recording.
