The Learning Company has combined desktop publishing with the Pokémon phenomenon to create Pokémon: Project Studio -- Blue Version for kids' PCs everywhere. With 81 of the 151 Pokémon in existence at their disposal, kids can create cards, stickers, key chains, tattoos, certificates, signs, stationery, banners, and a whole lot more. And if they can nag their parents into getting Pokémon: Project Studio -- Red Version, they can have access to the rest of the Pokémon for a grand total of 151 creatures at their disposal.<br><br>From the lovable Pikachu to the happy-go-lucky Squirtle to Charmander, the lizard with fire in his tail, all the kids' favorites are here. Running in Windows 95 with an interface similar to the one found in other desktop publishing packages, this program allows kids to drop their favorite creatures into various templates and manipulate them. They can rotate and layer objects, add background effects, and insert text. If they have photos of themselves, they can even use those to drop themselves into the world of Pokémon.<br><br>Sample sheets for the stickers and shrink sheets are included in the box, and the instruction booklet lists the Avery Dennison part numbers for all the supplemental supplies needed to make postcards, labels, business cards, and much more.<br><br>As the box proclaims, "Gotta make 'em all!"
