    This WiFi adapter for HP NC4xxx laptops works well with older WiFi Gateways. It would not work with our new 5G Gateway though, but this is not too significant. There are a lot of older gateways available that it does work with. You can still form a workgroup and enjoy inter-computer exchanges at home. It's not good to put these older computers on the internet also, so it's not a heavy drawback not working with 5G.
