Holding a coin that was in Commodore Turner’s collection 200 years ago reminds me that I’m just a temporary custodian of my collection and makes me wonder who will be holding my coins two hundred years from now. The Roman coin and its accompanying 200-yr-old hand written ID envelope are exactly as described and pictured. It was shipped quickly and securely packaged, and Rob reached out to let me know when he expected to put it in the mail. A great experience all around!

Putting a “fragile” sticker on a package is no substitute for a good packing job. The envelope arrived torn. The coin and ticket were packed in taped cardboard, in a taped envelope. The tight tape damaged the antique ticket justifying the price for what otherwise should be at most a $40 coin.
