- r***t (1304)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseSeller is great and attentive. Item arrived damaged and quickly replaced. Quality is more on par with a China Walmart item; should be selling for $399 or $499.00. It's not 100% stainless as only the outer casing is stainless and a lower lightweight grade; not 304 or 316. Gears are cast steel; maybe galvanized. There is NO fire protection at all as the bottom is totally open so you have to take precautions with this. The 12V wiring/motor is also exposed with no heat protect. The gears in galvanized metal to avoid oxidation. This main box of the grill, was designed to have the bottom part opened to ventilate the electrical system and to avoid overheating of the motor. This part is NOT supposed to be on top of a charcoal firebox.
