On the exterior, its black paint covered everything and was shiny; whereas OEM item I bought after I returned this has non-painted ferrule ends and is a matt black. I also looked inside seller's item with a borescope and it did not have a relief valve, just a big spring off center and a lot of excess epoxy. Very poor quality and no way I'd put it in my car. Bubble pack not sealed.
