It was barely packaged at all. They put it in the carrying case and then wrapped it with the cardboard you might wrap a class with before putting in a larger box. Three of the tightening screws were horribly bent, one of the three broke off when I tried to turn it. This was the cheapest attempt at packing a product I've ever seen. I can't tighten the actual slider thanks to this. Also it's listed as new but it came assembled.
