This Pioneer AppRadio device has almost every basic feature you could imagine, including old-fashioned AM/FM access. The built-in audio tuner gives you access to local channels with 24 presets ready for your personalization. Eighteen FM and six AM stations will be at your fingertips after setting up the system.The main feature of the SPH-DA210 Pioneer model is the phone connectivity. Using this stereo, you can access your phone's photos, calendar, maps, and other apps directly on the Pioneer's interface. You simply add a compatible cable adapter to the AppRadio so that your iPhone, Samsung, Sony, or other smartphone model can communicate with the car’s audio electronics. This Pioneer transceiver supports mobile platforms such as iOS, Android, and MirrorLink, which offers you diversity in smartphone compatibility. It's also possible to charge an iPhone 5, iPod, or another Apple product on the Pioneer AppRadio device. Many music fans stream songs from their favorite apps, such as iHeartRadio and Pandora, so Pioneer integrated them into the design. Because your preferences are saved on the app's server, your audio system simply accesses these accounts as you stream music through the built-in amplifier. This component offers 50 watts of power to each of your car’s four speakers.Enjoy the RDS text information display on the touchscreen that boasts a WVGA design. From the moment that the Android compatible system boots up, the pixel resolution of 800 x 480 stands out. The digital time and day of the week will be prominently displayed. You can also swipe through the different pages on the video display so that you can access easy-to-read icons. The icon images are simple with a quick-reference caption under each one. As you drive down the road, you can intuitively select a feature without taking your eyes off the road, such as the traffic app with an obvious stop light denoting its location.This receiver has a CD/DVD mechanism for playback of music and movies stored on conventional media. It's possible to play rewriteable and professionally processed discs from this AppRadio installation. Access GPS and use the integrated Bluetooth for hands-free calls whenever necessary.The sounds from the AppRadio device are courtesy of the embedded equalizer with a 5-band graphic interface. You can also add a subwoofer to the system along with two RCA pre-outs that support nearly any appropriate cable.
