The tin was sealed, the dates were good (mfd last April, best by Apr 2027). Seller might have included one more pic showing these dates on the bottom, but I took that on trust and was not disappointed.

Not only was it in a secure box, it also had cardboard around the box, and it was sealed with rainproof packaging and tape which was very much appreciated, since it was raining when it arrived.
