The plane is superb as intended, set apart the knob, for which it was indicated that the screw was not original (which is ok), but not that the knob was not secured on the plane and wobbly. I can probably fix it but I would have known it, maybe I would have chosen another object on ebay. The seller was nice and included an unexpected item : a Stanley 3 or 4 (rose?)wood handle.
