I hand washed it twice and laid it out to dry using dryer sheets underneath. Each time I folded it layered in dryer sheets. I still smelled tobacco, but it is much better. I’ll probably wash it a couple more times. Even though it says dry clean only, the delicate cycle in a nylon mesh bag worked perfectly. Also, while it appeared new, it did not come with tags as stated in the description. Lovely throw!
