The soles and laces are a light tan or khaki color, not yellow. Also, there is a white, rectangular patch of velcro, approximately 1"w x 2"h on the outside of the boot that does not show in the listing photos. It's function is to hold the straps in place. It can be mostly hidden if the straps are placed just right, but it's pretty ugly otherwise.
