I selected this item because the picture shows batteries with SHORT wires, just like the original battery in my E6540. However, I received batteries with LONG wires. It was difficult to make them fit in place of the old battery because space in the E6540 is limited. Eventually, I was able to mount them and they are electrically compatible. But the picture should match the actual product that is shipped.
