Perhaps, the seller was unaware, (or perhaps I overlooked the note in the listing), but the piece doesn't clasp as it should. The mechanism that should allow the two sides to "snap" together and remain sealed securely is missing. Overall, it doesn't detract from the beauty of the piece, as it will be used for decoration.
