The device may not actually power off each time it's shut down from remote (fan remains spinning) and must be unplugged. It will only accept a maximum of 32GB partition on any stick. It has had trouble detecting every USB stick I have put in it (including SD cards in USB adapters). It has had residue on the inside of the device since the night it arrived, causing the appearance of black splatter across the projection corners.
